About
Alana is the co-interim music director of the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles. She has an MFA Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago, and a BM in Music from Oberlin Conservatory. She has contributed music to the films Cloud Atlas, Killer Elite, Pioneers in Skirts and the TV show Awake. She has orchestrated, composed, and music programmed for composers Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil.
Alana has orchestrated for the band Dirty Vegas and had her music performed by the New World Symphony. In her adolescence, she was a member of the touring singing group Village Harmony. She plays piano, hammered dulcimer, accordion, guitar, and drums.
